I believe the synergistic healing powers of botanicals, formed by Earth, Air, Light and Water available in a plants native environment, carry a life force capable of holding it's inherent potency long beyond the plant's life cycle.

This life force settles in the roots and bark, accumulates in the stem and trunk, concentrates in the leaves and flowers – dry plants are never dead to me. They are holders of magnificent healing powers, waiting to be unlocked and extracted.

I create my tri-fold co-extracts by infusing the air dried botanicals of my compositions into the fruit and seed oils of my formulas over 3-12 months, using only the radiant warmth of the Sun. The plant matter is changed 3 times to intensify the strength and amply potency of my extracts.

Welcome to the powerful alchemy of Sun-infusion, an ancient method traditionally used in skincare and potion crafting to extract the medicinal properties of natural botanicals into oil (also honey or vinegar), and is in my opinion the only viable way to create alive, nutrient dense composition that synergise with our natural body. 

The naturally modulated warmth of the Sun preserves the plant’s heat sensitive vital properties, naturally deepens their unique fragrance and flavour profiles and increases the kinetic energy of molecules, very gently breaking down cell walls to release the plant's phytochemicals.

The resulting extracts are so stunningly different to everything else on all levels - aroma, skin feel, viscosity, colour, slip, emollience, and, most importantly, medicinal and therapeutic benefits. Again and again, I witness how Sunlight brings out an enigmatic, super natural characteristic that is worlds apart from commercial extracts acquired via electronic heat. Our process does not require electricity, does not expose our composition to toxic radiation and  produces zero carbon footprint.
