On my skin, I love this as a restorative face tonic after using REVIVE DEEP CLEANSING OIL to soothe any inflammation, balance hydration and even skin tone. On my hair, steam distilled Geranium hydrosol controls oil production and dandruff, while Chamomile promotes volume and is a great natural hair brightener that takes my Summer highlights all the way into Winter.
For me, there's a unique, invigorating moore-ishness about the scent of Geranium. I have memories of my mum crushing the fresh leaves in her fingers, cupping her face and inhale deeply. I never asked her why, but now I think it was to fight the afternoon slump. Or maybe it was her instinctive move to help with peri menopause symptoms – Geranium regulates Estrogen in particular. Probably both actually, she did have 5 kids...
